End of Module 2 Update

The Leigh Academy logo

Dear Parents/Carers,

I write to you at the end of this extraordinary module to firstly thank you for your tremendous support through these challenging times.

Staff at The Leigh Academy have faced stresses, strains and risks – but despite this have shown resilience and dedication to your children’s education and safety.  I am sure you would like to join me in thanking them all for continuing to provide a full balanced curriculum offer to every year group, whether that be the traditional in the classroom lessons or the new way of remote learning through Google classrooms and ‘live’ online lessons when either student, or teacher (or both) are self-isolating. We have also continued to provide a nurturing environment where all feel well looked after and supported.

Your children too, have faced each day with determination to succeed, following our safety routines and guidelines with a sensible, positive attitude.  I feel truly proud of our Leigh community which has pulled together to support each other through these tough times.
