The Leigh Academy welcomed students today to receive an impressive array of GCSE and Level 2 BTEC results. These students have faced unprecedented challenges over the last two years and truly deserve the grades they have received after years of hard work and commitment to their studies.
Principal, Mrs Julia Collins stated, “These results are testament to the resilience and perseverance of our young people who have overcome the significant demands over the course of their studies and shown true Leigh spirit. I am so proud of all of our students and wish them well as they move confidently into their future.”
Many students are returning to us for sixth-form studies, while others are already undertaking apprenticeships or will be moving on to college places in September. Thank you to the amazing team of staff and supportive parents who have encouraged students to achieve success and move onto their next stage of education or training.
