Dear Parents/Carers,
On Friday 1st October, your child will have their yearly photograph taken by VanCols, our usual photography provider.
This year, Vancols are able to offer both individual and group photographs. For both photographs, your child will be given their own ‘identity card’ which they will scan themselves, and then bring home to you. By scanning the QR code on the card, you will be able to see your child’s photographs at the touch of the button and order them from home. The academy will no longer receive a proof of your child’s photographs.
As always, there is a strong focus on keeping our students safe in the current climate and the taking of photographs will be as COVID-19 secure as possible, with the photographers standing behind screens and distanced from your child. Your child will be asked to stand on a marker, and will not be sat down during the individual photograph process. For the group process, contact with surfaces is minimal and all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly between each student or group. Students will also be provided with hand sanitizer before entering, and on leaving the Sports Hall. Students will also be expected to wear face coverings whilst in communal areas of the academy.

Timetabled PE Lessons
If you have a child in Year 11, they will NOT be taking part in practical PE on that day and will instead have a PE Theory lesson. Your child must arrive at the academy in their full uniform for the day.
