Dear Parent/Carer
A key part of the continuing success of your child is the partnership that we have with you. In order to develop this further, we are holding an information evening on Thursday 23rd September 2021 for Year 10 parents/carers.
The purpose of the evening will be to provide information on GCSE examinations, specifications and grading system with an overview of the 2-year course ahead with specific detail relating to the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science.
In order to allow social distancing in our Lecture Theatre, we will be inviting students and parents/carers in from each college at separate times as follows:
- 5:00pm – 5.30pm: Da Vinci College
- 5:30pm – 6.00pm: Brunel College
- 6:00pm – 6.30pm: Darwin College
- 6:30pm – 7.00pm: Chaucer College
Chairs will be grouped together in pairs and we request that just one parent/carer attends with each student, and that all attendees wear face coverings whilst in the building. Students should attend in academy uniform.
Depending on numbers of requests, there may also be an opportunity to meet with SENCO or a member of the SEN team. Please indicate on the reply slip below.
