Changes to PE Kit

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following on from the Principal’s letter dated 04/11/2021 I am writing to update you to the changes in PE this module. These changes will take place from Monday 15th November:

Changes to PE Kit Policy

Students will now come to the academy in academy uniform each day (even on PE days) starting from Monday 15th November and they will use the PE changing rooms to change for PE lessons in the same way that they have done previously.

Now that we are approaching winter and the colder weather conditions, students may want to include leggings or tracksuit bottoms within their PE kit bag. This is fine, but they must be plain black. Students are also encouraged to wear the ‘The Leigh logo’ black tracksuit top or plain black under layers to keep warm. Please DO NOT allow your son/daughter to wear hoodies, branded sportswear or sports clothing of any other colour than black.

Changes to Extra-Curricular PE Clubs

PE extra-curricular activities will return to a full timetable from Monday 15th November (please see timetable below):
