Dear Parents/Carers,
On Wednesday 15th June we have our Year 8 parent afternoon/evening, you will have the opportunity to discuss & review your child’s academic progress so far through academic career at The Leigh Academy. The in person parent/teacher meetings are an important part of your child’s education, which allows a dialogue between parent, student & teacher, your child is expected to attend the in person meetings with you. At first, we will offer 8 appointments per child on a first come first serve basis. We will then review the appointments made and if there are still slots available closer to the day, it may be possible to book more appointments if needed. Students should wear academy uniform.
We are again able to offer our School Cloud booking system, an online platform specialising in communication between parents/carers and school teachers, which can be accessed via https://theleighacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/. To login, you will need your parent login code and your child’s date of birth. Your parent login code will be sent to you via email, on Friday 27th May. The appointments will take place in person at The Leigh Academy, between 2.30pm and 7.00pm and are five minutes long. Time slots are self booked and are on a first come first served basis. Bookings will open on Wednesday 8th June at 12.00pm and will close on Wednesday 15th June at 12.00pm.

Please arrive at the academy in plenty of time for your appointments. Parking will be available in the academy car park.
