Extreme Weather

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you know we have our new College Activities days planned for Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July.
The Met Office have issued a weather warning for the start of next week, as such we have reviewed our plans and the field activities, (with the inflatables, assault course, laser games etc session) will be postponed and we hope to be able to rebook these for the autumn.
We are reviewing the plan for the two days and will aim to minimise any physical exertion or time spent outdoors.

We are asking for your help with the following:

  • Students should wear PE kit on Monday 18th July and Tuesday 19th July.
  • Students will be permitted to wear PE kit or school uniform (blazer and tie not required) on Wednesday 20th July and Thursday 21st July.
  • These are NOT own clothes days – Only PE kit or school uniform are acceptable
  • Students should bring sun cream. a refillable water bottle and a hat/cap to wear outdoors
  • Students will be allowed to stay indoors at break and lunchtimes if they wish

As we move towards the end of term I would like to wish you all a lovely summer break and thank you and our students for their hard work throughout the year and their continued positive attitude and engagement through the last week of term.
A reminder that students will be dismissed for the summer break on Thursday 21st July at 12:30pm.

I wish you all a happy and safe summer and I look forward to welcoming students back in September.

Kind Regards,

Julia Collins
Principal
