In September 2018, in collaboration with The Leigh Academies Trust, students in KS3 will start to learn French and Spanish through the IB Middle Years Language Acquisition Programme. Whilst the teaching of the language will remain largely unchanged, the planning of lessons and assessment of students progress will alter. Students will continue to be assessed every module and in January and June these assessment opportunities will be part of a whole Leigh Academies Trust assessment.
Further information will be uploaded in the new academic year.
