I am pleased to feedback that our Year 7 students have settled in very well at The Leigh Academy this week. In order to support their transition to secondary further and to continue to develop our partnership with parents/carers we are holding a year 7 Information Evening on Wednesday 14th September 2022. You will also be able to collect your child’s Chromebook on that evening.

Your child may attend with you and should be in academy uniform. Please enter via the main reception where you will be directed to your child’s College area.
The purpose of the evening will be to meet college senior staff, your child’s Student Services Manager, your child’s Tutor and the other parents/carers in your child’s College. We aim to discuss the ways in which we can work together and develop joint strategies, in order to enable your child to achieve their best. We will also be able to inform you about the IB Middle Years Programme that your child will be following throughout KS3.
Depending on the number of requests, there may be an opportunity to meet with our SENCo or a member of the SEN team. Please indicate on the reply slip below.
Please return the reply slip to your child’s tutor, by Monday 12th September 2022, at the latest, to indicate whether or not you will be able to attend.
