Year 12 Parent/Carer Briefing on Post-18 Options

Three female Leigh Academy students sitting at a table, working together.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Year 12 students spend Module 5 learning in detail about Post-18 options via weekly assemblies and tutor times and start their research into their own preferred option.

So that you feel equally well informed, I would like to invite you to attend a special parent/carer briefing from 6.00pm till 7.30pm on Thursday 25th May in the lecture theatre. I will share with you all the information we have been going through with your son or daughter and show you where you can access further information to help you support your child in making wise choices for life after Post-16.

It is entirely up to you whether you bring your son or daughter with you, as they will have heard the information in assemblies already, but you may find it helpful to have them with you, so you can discuss options through the evening. Though I will be presenting a slideshow, you will be able to ask questions as we go along.

I look forward to seeing you on 25th May.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Lee Forcella-Burton
Director of Post-16, Leading Attenborough College
