Year 13 Results Collection

IB Results Morning – Thursday day 6th July 2023
This will occur from 09:30am – 10:30am on Thursday 6th July. Year 13 students may arrive at the Sports Hall between 9:30 am and 10:30 am to collect their results. If a student is unable to collect their results and would like to give permission for someone else to collect them on their behalf, they must send an email to Mr. Hills (christopher.hills@leighacademy.org.uk), letting him know the name of the person they nominate to collect the results. This person will need to bring ID with them on the day.
Requesting remark services
After the results have been issued, the academy can place Enquiry Upon results (EUR) requests on students’ behalf. There are several categories of EURs available; candidates should contact the examinations team or the Attenborough Team for more information and for guidance on the results.
A Level and BTEC Results Day – Thursday 17th August 2023
In the first instance, we would ask that the first step for all students is to check UCAS Track to see if university places are confirmed, as soon as it opens at 8:00 am. If students need support with a choice, they will be able to see a member of the Post-16 team as soon as they arrive. The outline overview for the morning is as follows:
- 8am: The academy opens.
- 8am – 9am: Students applying to university to check UCAS Track.
- 9am – 10am: Year 13 arrival to collect results.
Once again, if students are nominating someone else to collect them on their behalf, they must send an email to Mr. Hills (christopher.hills@leighacademy.org.uk), letting him know the name of the person they nominate to collect the results. This person will also need to bring ID with them on the day.
If needed, every student will be offered a face-to-face meeting on the results day to discuss your destination options, and to support them, especially if they need to go through the Clearing process. Following your examination results, if you wish to have a review of marking for a particular examination paper or a copy of your script to view, you will need to complete a form for this, which can be collected from the Examinations Team that morning.
Return of Academy Chromebooks
Please note that, if Year 13 students have not yet returned their academy Chromebook and charger, they will need to bring them with them when they come to collect their results, as we will not issue results until they have been returned.
